This Payment & Delivery Policy applies to:
Individual patients (B2C)
Walk-in customers
Hospitals and Clinics (B2B)
Diagnostic Centres and Referral Laboratories
Domestic and International clients
A. For Individual Patients (B2C / Walk-in)
Full payment must be made prior to commencement of testing.
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.
Testing will begin only after sample acceptance and payment confirmation.
Synapse Laboratory reserves the right to withhold report release until payment is completed.
B. For Hospitals, Clinics & Diagnostic Centres (B2B)
Payment terms shall be governed by a Signed Service Agreement or Approved credit terms.
Where credit is approved, payment must be made within the agreed credit period (e.g., 15/30 days). Delayed payments may attract service suspension.
Synapse reserves the right to suspend report release, withhold further sample processing, or revoke credit facility.
C. International Clients
Advance payment is mandatory unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All foreign remittance charges must be borne by the sender.
Compliance with Indian foreign exchange regulations is required.
Testing will begin only after confirmation of funds received.
Synapse Laboratory is not responsible for delays caused by international banking or customs processes.
We may accept:
NEFT / RTGS / IMPS
UPI
Online payment gateway
Cheque (subject to clearance)
International wire transfer
Clients must mention the patient name, test name, and invoice number (if applicable) when making payment.
Clients sending samples must ensure:
Proper packaging as per biomedical standards
Temperature compliance (where required)
Complete Test Requisition Form (TRF)
Proper labeling
Synapse Laboratory shall not be responsible for:
Transit delays
Temperature deviations
Sample leakage or contamination during transport
Customs clearance issues (international shipments)
Testing begins only after successful quality control (QC) acceptance.
TAT starts from:
Date of sample receipt
Successful QC clearance
Payment confirmation (where applicable)
TAT is indicative and may vary due to:
Test complexity
Sample quality
Reagent availability
Technical review requirements
Regulatory compliance
Synapse Laboratory shall not be liable for delays beyond reasonable control.
Reports will be delivered through:
Secure email
Authorized hospital/diagnostic centre
Future online portal (when implemented)
Reports will be shared only with:
Referring clinician
Authorized institution
Patient or legal guardian (as per consent)
Hard Copy Reports
Provided only upon request.
Courier charges may apply.
Synapse is not liable for third-party courier delays.
Where diagnostic centres submit samples under referral arrangements, Synapse Laboratory remains responsible only for laboratory analysis. The referring centre is responsible for:
Patient communication
Collection quality
Billing to patient (if applicable)
Consent documentation
If payment is debited but not reflected, or a duplicate payment occurs, clients must notify us with transaction proof. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–14 working days after reconciliation.
Synapse Laboratory may suspend services in case of:
Non-payment
Repeated delayed payments
Regulatory violations
Misuse or fraudulent activity
